The CSI Provider, under the auspices of the Prague Chamber of Commerce and in collaboration with the consortium partners PORTOS, GATUM, and AXEN, is working on preparing selected Škoda Auto dealerships for ESG reporting.
The transposition of the ESG reporting directive (CSRD) into Czech legislation is progressing gradually. Starting in January 2024, the obligation to submit sustainability reports will apply to the largest companies and will eventually extend to smaller firms. This pilot collaboration aims primarily at timely preparation for the upcoming requirements and allows for a preliminary year of reporting.
Gatum Group’s experts concentrate on the environmental aspect of ESG, utilizing our expertise in energy management and energy data analysis for energy consumption assessments and proposals for efficiency measures, as well as establishing indicative decarbonization strategies.
Additionally, we have prepared and submitted a grant application for the EFEKT program to implement an energy management system in line with ISO 50001, which can significantly facilitate the ESG reporting preparation process. Our work contributes to achieving sustainability at the Czech and EU levels.
Our team is also involved in preparing an initial gap analysis for reporting readiness, collecting and consolidating non-financial data, and drafting the summary ESG report, or the Sustainability Status Report for the participating dealerships.

ESG reporting (Environmental, Social, and Governance) is a tool that allows companies to systematically report on their impact on the environment, social responsibility, and governance practices. It has become essential for investors, partners, and customers seeking sustainable and responsible businesses.
How it works:
•Environmental (E): Manages the company’s impact on the environment, including carbon footprint and waste management.
•Social (S): Focuses on employee relations, human rights, and diversity.
•Governance (G): Involves corporate governance structure, transparency, and ethical standards.
The significance of ESG reporting lies in its ability to reduce reputation-related risks and attract investors, while also enhancing credibility with banks and the public.
